ABOUT

Jacob Zhicheng Zhang is a writer, translator, and researcher of arts and art history based between Berlin (DE) and Toronto (CA). Currently, he is pursuing a doctoral degree in art history at the University of Toronto (CA). Jacob's research interests revolve around Sinophone transnational art and exhibition practices since the 1980s, art education histories in postsocialist and liberal democratic contexts, Asian and Asian North American minoritarian strategies in artmaking, and art produced in and about time-based media.
